Sure, Bend is dog-friendly and many dog owners tote their furry friends around like kids. Dogs in the grocery store, dogs in the restaurant, dogs everywhere. Fair enough, I have a dog, too. But if your dog truly is an important member of your family, treat it like you would your own kid.

To the two stupid dog owners I saw who left their pets in parked cars in 90 degree heat: WTF!?! Would you leave your kids in the car like that?Nice way to roast a dog in no time. Idiots.

To the inconsiderate assklown who let their dog take a dump on my front lawn and left it there: I don’t need any lawn decorations – don’t like lawn gnomes. Pick up the poop douche-bag. Seriously, you wouldn’t let you kid crap in my yard…or would you?

  1. Let’s push this agenda a little further Eric. Make downtown Bend a dog free zone. Wall and Bond, from Franklin to Greenwood. If you can’t imagine enjoying a meal or shopping for personal items without having your pet tied up outside, stay home.

  2. Hey TR6Bitz let’s push it even more – keep your spoiled, virus spewing, screeching children out of downtown too. I think a kid free zone is a great idea. If you can’t imagine a meal or a shopping trip without your little mini-me bobbling along then stay home!
