Your sidebar on people who don’t pay taxes exemplifies the incredible job of brainwashing our society has undergone.
No one should be paying federal income taxes.
The 16th Amendment was never properly ratified.
The Supreme Court had previously ruled a central bank was unconstitutional prior to the creation of the current Federal Reserve Bank in 1913. Since the 16th Amendment was never properly ratified the IRS is illegal. There is no law that says we the people have to pay income taxes.
Prior to the 16th Amendment profit was defined as business profit, not a worker’s wages. Wages could not be taxed; it was unconstitutional.
The IRS states themselves it is a “voluntary” tax. The voluntary income tax we pay does not even cover the interest charged to the U.S. Treasury for the Federal Reserve to print our fiat currency out of thin air.
Our tax dollars are not building new bridges; they are paying interest to a private bank loaning a country its own currency.
The U.S. Federal Reserve Bank is a privately owned, secretly owned, bank. They control the value of our currency through fractional reserve banking, not a hard asset like gold or land.
Prior to the current Federal Reserve Bank, two other federal reserve banks were created and then destroyed by presidential order.
The IRS operates not in civil or criminal court but in admiralty court.
The IRS periodically comes after people who refuse their voluntary tax and illegally seizes property and assets to make an example of them so others continue to pay. It is nearly impossible to beat the IRS in litigation with a lawyer who does not specialize in admiralty.
If you choose to stop paying taxes make sure you have an attorney practiced in dealing with the IRS in admiralty.
Being excited about a tax refund is an emotional response unfounded in reality as the feds shouldn’t have taken any wages from you in the first place. They simply should not be holding anything of your wages that need giving back.
In relevance to the IRS seizing property for unpaid taxes, we need to consider the following information. Anyone who has their property completely paid for with no outstanding debt and think they “own it” is incorrect. Research allodial title and freehold title. Allodially titled land may be seized by the federal government at any time because even though you paid for it, they own it. Converting your land to freehold title is nearly impossible but always worth a try.
We the people need to understand the Constitution, allodial title and fractional reserve banking and take back our government, land and wages.
If anyone thinks they are legally bound to pay federal income taxes, please show me the law.

And as they pry it from your cold dead hands, you can rejoice in the knowledge that you were right.
Every major court decision against tax protesters such as yourself has resulted in a defeat or settlement. If what you claimed was true, there would be a mass stampede to your side–none of us enjoy the process of rendering unto Caesar his due. But I think you should ask Wesley Snipes how his case is going? He took equally sound advice from such as you.
Nice misinformation. No one likes to pay their taxes. Try again on the 16th amendment. Those poor misinformed judges on the supreme court ought to get in touch with you to learn the law.

HERE HERE!! I am in complete and total agreement with you. It is amazing isn’t it the power of brainwashing. Quite scary also, I might add. We do need to take back our government… our Founding Fathers would be so ashamed of this country. This is NOT what they had in mind when they dedicated so much of their livelihoods for the freedom and independence of this country.
On a political note this is what Ron Paul has been saying all along! He is still in the race, he is TRULY the best man for the presidential job. Don’t be fooled by what the MSM chooses to show and not show. Vote
Ron Paul 2008! ( It is not too late! )

thank you.
Merk, I suggest using the Turdstone Reality Sorter in this case. Take all of your ‘facts’ and put them in one hand. Now, take a crap in your other hand. See which hand fills up first.
Note: Don’t try this at home. For obvious security considerations, this should only be attempted by proffessional hand crappers on a closed course.
Smart-assed, ignorant-assed, comments aside, Merk is exactly right – there is no legal obligation to pay federal taxes. The IRS, like the Federal Reserve, is an illegal entity, unconstitutional, and contrary to The Founders intent. If you knew anything at all about The Law, or American history, you wouldn’t make such smart-assed, ignorant-assed, comments.
State and local taxes, on the other hand, are a tad different to those how enjoy public schooling and law enforcement, and are never-the-less moot to this discussion.
But then again, how do we take seriously comments by Kramer, and, clearly a professional hand-crapper, Dilbert?

Read my post–I didn’t say he was wrong, just that there is no way he can ever be right because in this case the courts, enforcement, and so-called representatives are NEVER going to accede to the correctness of his stand because his interpretation of the law and constitution conflict with the mainstream. Since the beginning there has been a disagreement on what is meant by Constitutional authority. The courts are the ultimate arbitrator and in this case, they disagree with both Merk and you. If you are right, and the long history of court decisions that uphold the contrarian position are wrong, the course of action for you is clear. At the same time, the results of such action that end up in property confiscation and imprisonment, if not worse, are to be expected.
Molon labe, indeed. Expect it.
All the high profile examples of people who have gone to jail and/or had their posessions sold by the IRS might disagree with you (Willie Nelson and Richard Hatch to name just two).
Illegal or not, it dosen’t pay to not pay the tax man. Besides, this is an irresponsible point of view, what would happen if we all stopped paying? It wouldn’t be good.

We already have the power to change it. We are already changing it.
Too funny! They just arrested a couple in my state for tax evasion and they are both in the clinker for a loooong time. I also know another person who hasn’t paid taxes in many, many years but still reaps the rewards of living in the United States with all that the government offers. My suggestion to those who do not want to pay taxes; go live on an island somewhere and be solely responsible for your survival. Everything from gathering and preparing food, waste and waste disposal, planning and building your own shelter. You all have it too easy when you walk into a store and find all the food you need that is brought to the store by some taxpaying person, or take your trash to curb for some taxpaying individual to pick up for you, or drive your car to the gas station and fill up with gas that was brought there by a taxpaying citizen. Get with it and pay up for go to prison!
