Up here in NW Ontario, the snowies are looking for food too. Unfortunately, many are starving. I am always dismayed when people report their locations which bring an onslaught of photographers/viewers. They have so little strength left that the effort of trying to escape from people (and the ravens/crows who follow the people) that they die. Admire from afar please, and think twice before announcing their location.
