Would someone please change H. Bruce Miller’s diaper? His big fat tears about the “obnoxious noise pollution” over at LSA probably need wiping too. Next time just turn off your hearing aid old-timer.

  1. I’m young and love music. However; sheryl crow was pretty loud and if you were sitting on my porch, downtown, (No…I’m not a rich downtown house owner,
just a modest house in a modest neighborhood ” all I wanna do is get some sleep”. The concert went to elven and if you have to get up at 5:30 that can be a problem. It sounded like it was going on in my front yard.

  2. The three back-to-back days in May with the heavy-metal bands were way too much for our household near LSA. Appreciate all music and an individual’s choice in genre, but three nights of head-banging noise (my descriptor)is not fair to residents and their collective right to quiet enjoyment. Called the police on noise ordinance and they default to Marney Smith’s cell phone which always goes to voicemail. As part and parcel of the “Old Bill District” her only concern is revenue – of which her family gets a cut. So nobody really cares about the community-at-large. The city almost always turns a blind eye to the good ol’ boy network. (Agree that Crow was the loudest ever — even though a fan, I was shocked at the sound level… a group of us in the ‘hood blocks away were dancing in the street as if we were right in front of the stage!)
