The city of Bend now plans to support its airport expansion by taking funds from 911, COCC and the schools. This can be found on the city’s website under Bend Airport Urban Renewal. Don’t confuse this with the Robert’s Field in Redmond. Bend Airport is the one the private planes use. Contact your city and County councilors and ask them to not re-allocate these funds. Below is some of what they are re-allocating.

COCC: $365,485

School District 1: $2,806,586

County Library: $324,011

Rural Law Enforcement: $824,756

Rural Fire Dist 2: $846,318
