Article I, Section 1, Oregon Constitution: “Natural rights inherent in people. We declare that all men, when they form a social compact are equal in right” – except homosexuals! Hypocrisy and prejudice epitomized.
Amendment 14, Section 1, U.S. Constitution: “All persons born or natural-ized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws” – except homosexuals! Hypocrisy, prejudice and ignorance epitomized.
Senate Bill 2, Section 1: “…to insure the human dignity of all people within this state and protect their heath, safety and morals from the consequences of intergroup hostility, tensions and practices of discrimination OF ANY KIND based on…sexual orientation…” (emphasis added) – ignored by the opposition
Such hypocrisy, prejudice and ignorance epitomize the opponents of gay rights, who are attempting to sabotage (repeal) the anti-discrimination and civil union laws of Oregon. Their attempt is above the law, anti-Christian (as I know Christianity), anti-morality, and anti-humanity! You cannot sink lower than that

Well, Bates, Leviticus 18:22 & 20:13 are extremely clear on the subject and Jude 7 doesn’t leave a whole lot to the imagination. “Be put to death” for the practice of homosexuality sounds like the Christian Gowuhd is more than just a tad against it.
I suggest that before you ‘pontificate’ (chuckle) about the recommendations of Christianity on the subject of acceptable sexual behavior, you should go steal a Bible somewhere and then read it.
The bible has a few passages that would allow us to interpret how god (or the author(s)) feels about gays. Luckily, we are not a theocracy and the state and federal constitutions trump the bible. Why choose discrimination? It never ends up working out that well.
It is GODs jod to judge us all when the time comes, unless criminal it’s not our place. I’m not a homosexual but they are humans too.
