That’s the number of inches that Mt. Bachelor was reporting as a base on Tuesday afternoon just a few hours before opening day of the 2010-2011 season.

Bachelor had lost much of its early season snow thanks to recent warm weather and rains, but a the pre-Thanksgiving storm more than replenished the mountain, dropping almost two feet of snow in the days prior to the season’s first chair.
