Video from Thursday Night’s G. Love Show
Dear guy in front of me at last night’s G. Love and Special Sauce/Belle Brigade show,
I’ve posted some videos on this site for you to check out because, as far as I can tell, you didn’t see much, if any, of the show at a sold-out Domino Room last night because you were texting throughout the whole show, only taking a break between songs to backpedal into me and shout either “Git er done!” or “Uh, winning!” toward the ceiling.

As Ethan mentioned yesterday, today is Record Store Day and our own Ranch Records is celebrating with a surprise, free show from Empty Space Orchestra.

We’ve been somewhat vocal in encouraging the entirety of Bend’s workforce to disappear an hour or two early on recent Fridays to get up to Mt. Bachelor’s Pine Parties — the mountain’s 4pm-7pm ski sessions on the Pine Marten chair.
Yonder Mountain String Band Tonight in Bend
Today has been circled on the calendars of a few hundred (or several hundred) of Bend’s live music fans. The wait is over and roots music fans can finally rejoice because Yonder Mountain String Band is in town tonight at the Midtown Ballroom.
Body of Bend Tsunami Victim Identified
A body that washed up earlier this month near the mouth of the Columbia River is that of a Bend native who disappeared after being washed out to sea last month by the Japanese tsunami.
The state forensic examiner has identified the body found April 2 in Fort Stevens Park as that of Dustin Douglas Weber, 25.
