18-year-old, Nathaniel (Natty) Perullo discovered climbing at the age of 7. He won his first national at age of 9, and has been competing ever since. Natty is currently the Under 19 US National Champion and competes for the US National Team. Excelling in both bouldering and lead climbing, he has rapidly emerged as one of the nation’s most promising young athletes in competitive climbing. Natty represented the United States at the Youth World Championships in Helsinki, Finland, where he reached the semifinals and placed in the top 24 globally.
Living in Bend, Oregon for the last nine years, Natty trained at the Bend Endurance Academy and recently graduated from Cascades Academy. He will attend the University of Utah and plans to become a paramedic firefighter. Natty hopes to represent the United States at the World Olympics in 2028.
