On Friday morning at 10am, students all over the nation walked out of their classrooms in a call to action to end gun violence.

Students from area schools participated in the National School Walkout, including Summit High School and Pacific Crest Middle School students who met at Universalist Unitarian Church in Bend to write letters to state representatives and to rally against school gun violence. Bend High School students held a similar rally at the First Presbyterian Church across town.
