Lucille Ausman is a (more-or-less) native Central Oregon currently interning at the Source while on break from Smith College, where she Smith's student newspaper The Sophian and works as an undergraduate research assistant for the Anthropology department as a STRIDE Scholar. Just like every other girl of her generation who “raised her hand too much,” she identifies with Harry Potter’s gal pal Hermione Granger. A one-time ballerina and blue-ribbon rooster raiser, Lucy gets a kick out of international travel, selling vegan donuts at the Country Fair, and celebrating the “totally hilarious and underrated” holiday, Groundhog’s Day.
