The 2026 Sisters Folk Festival lineup is officially complete with the announcement of six final artists set to perform throughout downtown Sisters on September 25 – 27, 2026. Joining this year’s bill are legendary bluegrass fiddler Michael Cleveland, Black Banjo Reclamation Project founder Hannah Mayree, along with Sway Wild, Matt the Electrician, Raynes, and Schmid & Guest, rounding out a dynamic roster of boundary-pushing artists from across the folk music tradition.

Anchoring the final lineup announcement is acclaimed bluegrass fiddler Michael Cleveland, whose career has helped shape the sound of modern bluegrass music. A twelve-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, GRAMMY winner, and National Fiddlers Hall of Fame inductee, Cleveland has performed and recorded with artists including Béla Fleck, Tommy Emmanuel, Billy Strings, and Vince Gill. His band, Flamekeeper, is a seven-time recipient of IBMA’s Instrumental Group of the Year award, and in 2026, Cleveland is featured in the Country Music Hall of Fame’s American Currents: State of the Music exhibit, recognizing his lasting impact on bluegrass and roots music.

Another notable addition is Hannah Mayree (they/them), an artist and musician whose work as a banjoist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist has been both a historic excavation into folk music, and a window into the future of the genre. On the cusp of releasing their second studio album, Mayree continues to push folk traditions forward through solo, duo, trio, and full-band performances rooted in Black string music and genre-blurring experimentation. Beyond the stage, they are the founder and creative director of the Black Banjo Reclamation Project, a global initiative creating musical, cultural, and place-based spaces for Black and Afro-Diasporic communities to reconnect with ancestral wisdom and use the banjo as a tool for reinvention.

The full 2026 lineup also includes Tommy Emmanuel, Ozomatli, Brandy Clark, John Gorka, Margo Cilker, Mason Via, Thunderstorm Artis, Cristina Vane, Toubab Krewe, Eli West, Dean Johnson, Maya De Vitry, The Paperboys, Scottish Fish, Gadan, Bandits on the Run, Mama’s Broke, Banshee Tree, Chris Eldridge & Kristin Andreassen, Joslyn & the Sweet Compression, Lone Piñon, Madeline Hawthorne, Jordan Smart, Rosine, Spencer LaJoye, Wolf Jett, and Pete Mroz.

Three-day festival passes are available at the advance price of $245 for adults and $90 for youth ages 17 and under. Children under 5 attend for free. Single-day tickets will be released in July alongside the full performance schedule. All ticket prices include fees for maximum transparency.
