After five years in their brick & mortar location, Blissful Spoon is ready to celebrate! A series of events is planned over the next week, and the community is invited to come and join in.
The birthday bash weekend kicks off with an evening of Moroccan food and belly dancing with Bend’s Lost & Found Belly Dancing troupe on Saturday evening, January 24. Reservations for the evening can be made online at www.blissfulspoon.com.
“For anyone involved in the restaurant industry, five years is a great milestone to hit,” said Miki Bekkari, owner of Blissful Spoon. “We are so very grateful to the community for all of their support over the years, and since we’re always looking for fun things to bring to Bend and share with the community, we thought belly dancing would be a fantastic way to celebrate.”
On the same evening the Cellar 65 venue will be hosting the local jazz/roots band, Perfectly Adequate, in the 21-and-over bar downstairs and walk-ins are welcome.
On Sunday, January 25 Blissful Spoon will host it’s final Winter Afternoon Tea of the season. This is a highly regarded event and a great time with friends or family. Tickets for this event can be found on Eventbrite.
Wrapping up the festivities will be a special four-course, off-menu Italian Night dinner as part of the venue’s “Journeys” dinner series. Held on Thursday night, January 29, these dinners are held in the more intimate space of Cellar 65, and tickets can be purchased with or without the alcohol pairings.
Reservations are recommended and the links can be found on the Blissful Spoon website at www.blissfulspoon.com/pages/events.
