To celebrate the end of summer, the Bend Park & Recreation Foundation invites community members of all ages to Pavilion-Palooza, a free event at The Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 13 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Pavilion-Palooza promises a fun-filled afternoon with roller skating, skatepark features and skateboard lessons, music by DJ Teafly, art and sports activities and more.
The free event is hosted by the Bend Park and Recreation Foundation with entertainment sponsored by First Interstate Bank.
Donations are welcome and raffle ticket sales will provide support for the recreation scholarship program, offering families and children in our community access to BPRD recreation programs and opportunities.
Free advance tickets can be reserved now: Available at SignUp Genius. Drop-in admission will be accommodated at the door if space is available.
Admission includes skate rental, which has limited quantities and sizes. Attendees with their own skates are encouraged to bring them.
At Pavilion-Palooza, skateboards and scooters with helmets are welcome in the skatepark area too; however, bikes are not allowed. Skateboard intro lessons will be offered by Board House.
