The salon is opening its doors just in time for Great Clips’ annual Thank a Veteran program for Veterans Day. On November 11, veterans and active military service members can visit any Great Clips salon, including the existing bend location, to receive a free haircut or a card to be used during a future visit. Non-military customers can also participate in the Thank a Veteran program by visiting a Great Clips salon on November 11, where they will receive a free haircut card to pay it forward to a veteran or active military service member. These cards will be redeemable through December 5, 2025.
“As a an Oregan resident and local business owner, I’m excited to provide more access to the affordability and convenience of Great Clips to the Bend community,” said salon owner and Great Clips franchisee Tamara Bitticks. “We’re glad we can provide another location for veterans and active military service members in the area to get their free haircuts on Veterans Day and for everyone else, our grand opening specials are just in time to save on haircuts ahead of the holidays.”
Starting November 8, the salon will be open daily with experienced stylists ready to give great haircuts that fit customers’ schedules. Tamara and Bryan Bitticks are experienced salon owners with 14 locations throughout Oregan providing employment and growth opportunities to more than 100 stylists and barbers.
