Identifier. Rankings are highly competitive.

To determine the Best Workplaces for Women, Great Place to Work surveyed 54,000 employees across the country. According to the survey, 100% of women and minorities reported Hayden Homes is a great organization to work for, reflecting the organization’s commitment to fostering a strong company culture that values inclusion and offers diverse opportunities for career advancement.

At present, 151 women work at Hayden Homes, making up 41% of the company’s workforce, highly notable as women represent only 11.2% of the construction industry, according to 2024 U.S. Bureau of Labor statistics. Even more telling of the valued role of women in the workplace, Hayden Homes female team members comprise 40% of Hayden Homes’ executive leadership team and 35% of all managers across the organization–well above industry norms.

“Women join Hayden Homes at all stages of their career because there’s more than one path to a career in construction,” said Patti Murphy, Hayden Homes vice president of employee experience. “Our team members stay with us because they don’t just enjoy their work, they enjoy the people they work with and the work we do for our community.”

To determine the Best Workplaces for Parents List, Great Place to Work surveyed 606,000 employees across the country. At Hayden Homes about 60 percent of team members who took the Great Place to Work survey said they are caretakers of children. The company’s generous benefit package, family-focused culture and flexible work environment are several of the reasons for the company’s high marks, as well as inclusive events such Take Your Kid To Work Day, family picnics and community events.

In addition, the company offers up to 16 hours of paid volunteer time off each year–which can be used for coaching and volunteering in schools–supporting team members to stay involved in their children’s communities. Other popular benefits at Hayden Homes include a home purchase discount program and 401k match of up to $10,000 per year.

The news of these two new Best Workplaces for Women and Best Workplaces for Parents rankings come on the heels of two other high rankings the company recently received fromFortune Media. In September, the company was awarded 3rd on the Best FortuneWorkplaces in Construction List™ and 21st on the 2025 Fortune Best Medium Workplaces™ List. Those rankings were also based on feedback provided directly from Hayden Homes team members.

“We are grateful to receive these recognitions for what they symbolize about our culture and community,” said Murphy. “We exist to Give As You Go™ so that together we build a strong community and live fulfilled lives–that extends to how we treat our team members, including providing a high-quality working environment every day they come to work.”
