Hunter Noack, a Sunriver native and critically acclaimed pianist who created the “In A Landscape” concert series, will perform a benefit concert for the SCF Three Rivers School Scholarship Fund at Sunriver Christian Fellowship on Sunday, March 8, at 2:00 pm.
Noack studied locally with Jodie Bischof and Patti Peterson before graduating from the Interlochen Arts Academy and receiving a bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from USC and a master’s degree from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He has toured the Northwest for the past several years with his highly successful “In A Landscape” series, bringing music to State and National Parks, urban greenspaces, working ranches and farms, and historical sites.
Noack’s mother Lori is a former Executive Director of the Sunriver Music Festival. She was responsible for coordinating the Festival’s fundraising efforts to purchase its own Steinway Grand Piano that SCF is privileged to house and utilize for worship services and other events such as today’s concert.
As of Spring 2025, SCF has awarded $385,700 in Scholarships to deserving students over the last 15 years to help them in their educational endeavors. Sunriver Christian Fellowship is committed to assisting young people living in South Deschutes County in their effort to obtain higher education or training as a means of securing better vocational opportunities. A scholarship team is responsible for selecting and awarding scholarships to qualified applicants. The scholarship awards up to a maximum of $2,000 per recipient in the first year. The scholarship is annually renewable until the student has reached their goal. An applicant for this scholarship must have attended Three Rivers School in the Sunriver Business Park for at least one full school year. More information about the Partnership in Education Program of SCF can be found at www.sunriverchristianfellowship.org under the Our Community drop down menu.
There is a minimum donation of $40 per person which will be collected at the door. You can pay with check, cash, credit card, or QR code. A reservation is needed since seating is limited. To reserve a spot, email scholarships@sunriverchristianfellowship.org and include your name, phone number, and the number of people in your party in your request for seats. There will be a waiting list, so if you need to cancel, please be sure to send an email to the same address.
