Scalehouse Gallery is pleased to present Seeds of Abundance: Limits, Loss & Regeneration, a solo exhibition by Michele Guieu that invites collective reflection on ecological limits, loss, and the possibilities of regeneration. The exhibition will be on view from March 6 through April 24, 2026.
In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, unbalanced, and unpredictable, Seeds of Abundance offers a space to slow down and reconnect—with nature, with one another, and with the systems that shape our lives. Through immersive installation work using natural and reclaimed materials, the artist balances the profound beauty of the natural world with a clear-eyed acknowledgment of the crises we face today, including biodiversity loss, ecological overshoot, and the accelerating complexity of our thermo-industrial society.
Inspired in part by Nate Hagens’ The Great Simplification podcast, the exhibition embraces the idea that these global challenges cannot be “solved” outright, but instead require wiser, more thoughtful responses. Seeds of Abundance becomes a call to collective contemplation and to small, intentional acts of care—gestures that acknowledge limits while nurturing responsibility and resilience.
An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 6, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. An Artist Talk is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 PM. Additional programming includes Small Mobile Workshop, Saturday, April 11, from 11 am to 4 pm. Further programming will be announced.
