This September, NAMI Central Oregon and Hearts Unknown Education (HUE) are coming together for Shine a Light, a 24 hour candlelight vigil and fundraiser for suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

September 25 to 26 | Drake Park, Bend

We’ll begin Friday evening with a Mental Health & Suicide Prevention Panel at 6 PM, followed by the vigil at 7 PM on the Drake Park footbridge. For the next 24 hours, we’ll keep the light burning together.

There are lots of ways to be part of it:

  • Sign up for a vigil shift
  • Fundraise or donate
  • Join us for the panel
  • Bring a friend and simply come be part of the gathering

Every light represents a person, a story, a connection, and a reason to keep showing up for one another.

We’d love to have you with us.

Shine A Light is also a fundraiser supporting the free mental health programs offered by NAMI Central Oregon and HÚE. We invite you to create your own fundraising page and help us shine even brighter.

A special thank you to Central Oregon Radiology Associates (CORA) for sponsoring Shine a Light and supporting mental health and suicide prevention in our community.

Let’s shine together.
