In honor of National Consumer Protection Week Oregon Attorney General John Kroger released Oregon’s Top 10 Consumer Complaint List.
There are some obvious and repeat offenders on the list, like telemarketing, an activity that most everyone will agree is a pain in the ass.

Another one! New brewery to open in Sunriver
Sunriver is getting it’s own brewery!
In what will be about the 15th brewery in the area to receive federal approval to brew, Sunriver Brewing Company plans to open this summer.
The owners are keeping extremely silent on the details, and declined to release information about the size of the brew system, the identity of the brewmaster, the styles of beers to be produced or the pub’s menu.

(Deschutes) Beer Is Back!
Acting on anonymous tip that the Bond Street location had re-openend, MicroCosmos made our way down to the Deschutes Brewery for a late lunch today and discovered a bigger bolder pub in place of our longtime watering hole. The brewery has yet to formally announce its grand re-opening, look for that later this week, so the crowd was light, allowing MicroCosmos to survey the new digs and snap a few photos before diving into a Reuben.
