Like reality TV, but for horses, Cloud: Wild Stallion of the Rockies, is a remarkable and gripping hour-long documentary about Cloud, a wild stallion who has been chronicled since his birth in the Rockies in 1995. The footage is beautiful, with swooping aerial shots and hoof-pounding on the ground close-ups, that brings an intimacy to the story, plights, trials and tribulations of these wild horses. The screening is part of a fundraiser for Equine Community Resources, a down-to-earth organization that promotes responsible horse care. Also, music from Wes Adams and Organic Music Farms, and short films by Mustang Meg. March 16, 5 pm. Volcanic Theatre, 70 SW Century. $10 suggested donation.
