Adrian Xavier

Adrian Xavier has been billed alongside many notable musicians and pop stars. The son of a radio DJ who worked on Rick Dees Weekly Top 40 and a peace activist, music was ingrained in Xavier from a very young age. Now based in Seattle, he blends sax and fiddle to create a highly appealing blend of reggae and soul music. Committed to being a voice for the voiceless, Xavier creates music that crosses both cultural and social barriers. The addition of the fiddle and sax to the reggae sound makes Xavier's music anything but traditional. 10 pm. Friday, Aug 14. Astro Lounge, 939 NW Bond St. $5/adv, $8/door.
