Bend City Council approved a resolution that will place a five cent fuel tax on the March 2016 ballot at Wednesday’s City Council meeting. Before agreeing on five cents, Councilor Campbell suggested a ten cent tax–which was seconded by Councilor Boddie. Councilor Knight and Councilor Russell said they would not support a ten cent tax. Council Campbell then moved to adopt a seven cent tax, but it was not seconded. Councilors Chudowsky and Councilor Roats voted against the resolution.
