Tonight, Seattle’s deliciously danceable Redwood Plan plays at Players Bar and Grill and in doing so, introduces our town to a style that as far I as know, has never been heard here: Dance Punk.

Here’s my profile of the Redwood Plan from this week’s Source. Among other things, you’ll learn that the band is lead by the thunderous vocals of Lesli Wood, who is actually an attorney when she’s not rocking out. Also, you might recognize the name of her previous band, Ms. Led.

The show is at 9pm and features new-on-the-scene local rockers Yenn as the opener.
