Ladies night out! This week on the Source’s Friday Mixtape!

Okay, so not all of the songs on this week’s edition are tunes ready for the dance floor. But they are all from strong voiced, and sometimes rowdy women. Ms. Jackson if you’re nasty.

Check out thumping rock from Kitten, powerful folk from Daughter, fun indie pop from Deep Sea Diver and my favorite Dolly Parton song. In all there are 16 tracks to celebrate Women’s Month with. And yes… Janet Jackson is in there too.
