Earlier this summer at the West Wind Ranch Americana Music Festival a thief, who may or may not have been wearing a black mask and carrying a brown burlap sack with a green dollar sign on it, stole a bunch of gear from local musicians.

The River Pigs‘ Scott Foxx and Thomas T (the later of whom also plays in Mosley Wotta) were the victim of the heist. Foxx had his 1912 violin, guitar amp, mics and cables stolen, while Thomas’ PA speakers were also taken.

Tonight, in an effort to raise some funds to replace the gear, there’s a benefit concert at the Northside Bar and Grill featuring members of Mosley Wotta, the River Pigs and Moon Mountain Ramblers. There will be a raffle and prizes to help raise more funds.

The show kicks off tonight at 7pm.
