Wednesday is here and there is plenty of live music to get you over the mid-week hump.

San Francisco based Tartufi plays the Horned Hand at 9pm. Lynne Angel, Brian Gorman and Ben Thorne form this power-pop trio that creates a unique indie sound through looping (a repeating section of sound created with digital samplers, synthesizers, sequencers, drum and tape machines). Look for a preview of songs from their yet-to-be-released album These Factory Days.

The Pickinโ€™ and Paddlinโ€™ concert series continues tonight with the Ashland band Eight Dollar Mountain. Have a beer, listen to some bluegrass and demo one of fifty boats (not necessarily in that order) from Tumalo Creek and Kayak. All proceeds benefit the Bend Paddle Trail Alliance, a local non-profit working to establish a navigable paddle trail that will enhance river recreation.

Flannel Bandana plays a free, all ages show at Mcmenaminโ€™s at 7pm. Led by Moon Mountain Rambler’s mandolinist Joe Schulte, Flannel Bandana performs folk, bluegrass, jazz, gypsy and Latin tunes.

Last, but certainly not least, West African Drummers & Dancers perform at The Broken Top Bottle Shop from 7-9pm. The show is free and all ages.

Take that hump day!
