We at the Blender believe in good ol’ American justice — and every other kind of justice. That’s why we’re asking you, the Internet reading folks in Bend, to help us find the low-life couple that distracted local filmmaker Chris Kas, then proceeded to jack his leather jacket which contained his wallet, keys and a borrowed HD video camera.

The alleged heist took place on Tuesday night at Velvet in downtown Bend and security cameras caught the suspected scoundrels in the act. See the photo below and note the circled couple.

Why do we care about this? Well, because we, as a rule, don’t like people who try to make the rest of us uneasy about going out to a bar. You should be able to converse with friends and have a frosty bronson without having to worry about getting hamburgalered.

So if you’ve seen this couple sneaking through the streets and bars, trying to rip people off,ย  contact Bend Police.

  1. Heck yes! Let’s catch these people. Chris is an awesome guy, and this just goes against everything that Bend represents. I hope the couple are caught and pay dearly for their actions.

Gotta love the digital world we live in, btw. Hope these idiots realize that they are wanted people and WILL be caught, thanks to Velvet’s surveillance cameras.

  2. We were with Chris at the bar that night as he was hosting a film screening. It was a fantastic event and Chris does this on his own for the community.

Help us find these two and get Chris’s stuff back!!

    Thanks Source!
