Onlookers came out by the hundreds for the annual Veterans Day parade in Redmond on Nov. 11. The festivities began at Tuesday at 11:11 am, in homage to Armistice Day from World War 1. That war officially ended in 1918, at the 11th minute of the 11th hour of the 11th day.

This was the 24th year for Redmond’s Veterans Day parade, hosted by Central Oregon Veterans Outreach. These are some of the scenes from the day.
