With the London Olympics now behind him, the 800-meter runner has had time to focus his energies elsewhere. Like the beer mile. Yes, this a real thing with it’s own rules and posted champions. Remember when we did this?

Last week’s attempt placed Symmonds at the top of Oregon’s beer-mile list of champions, though he fell short of the world record, which is an astounding 5:09.
