Last night’s Grammy salute honoring the 50 year anniversary of Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show was a reminder of the staying power of the worlds greatest pop band (don’t even try to argue with me, One Direction fans).

“The Beatles: The Night That Changed America — A Grammy Salute,” was excellent and even more excellent was the announcement that Ringo Starr will be making a stop at the Les Schwab Amphitheater on July 17.
