Buckle up. It appears the presidential campaign season is officially underway in Oregon. President Obama launched the first media salvo this week with his campaign airing a no-holds barred slam of his presumptive Republican rival Mitt Romney. The 30-second spot which has been airing in other battleground markets for several weeks popped up in Oregon over the weekend when it was shown during ESPN’s coverage of the British Open among other broadcasts. If you’re a Romney supporter, get ready to cringe. If you’re an Obama backer, get ready to cheer. This one could be a brawl.
