It is time: Get your signature on the record as supporting same-sex marriages. On Friday, Basic Rights Oregon has a statewide roll out of their signature campaign (well, in Portland, Eugene, Bend and Ashland; no word about La Pine). Stop by and give your signature and/or pick up petitions to gather friends’ signatures.
Or, heck, even if you still haven’t made up your mind (really? jesus!), at least put your signature down as supporting the idea of letting democracy sort of the matter. Just go sign the damn piece of paper, okay?
Where? Social Justice Center, 155 NW Irving.
(And If we may be petty for a moment, Basic Right Oregon ignored our suggestion to post themselves at the pavilion near Boken/Dojo and Crow’s Feet where we thought they’d get better visibility and good foot-traffic – not to mention good food. Oh well. What do we know?)
Time? It doesn’t make complete sense to us, but they say something about 10 am and 3 pm.

Ya, cuz that really matters. Let’s fight about stupid crap like this while our country goes down the crapper. Oh, this not getting traction, lets stoke the flames on some race relations, get those to hate those. Distraction, distraction while Rome burns. It’s almost as if this has happened before….
…and will happen again.
Super-dumb argument BTW, buckZor. Civil liberties are the core basis for our revolution and existence as a nation, not a “distraction.” You may have heard of the Bill of Rights? Also, I’m confident we can handle letting The Gays marry and fixing the country at the same time.
And just to clarify on my previous post: BSG, anyone?
