The Week-nighter 7/14-7/17

Working overtime is lame. Especially when there are such great concerts happening almost ever night of the week #inBend! Here are a few of our suggestions for this week in afterwork entertainment.

Tuesday:
The Haunted Windchimes
Humble and endearing, Haunted Windchimes offers the kind of old-fashioned comfort of Americana, folk and blues that warms the heart. As familiar as a porch swing, the band’s sound is, as its name suggests, hauntingly nostalgic of a time gone by. Despite a laidback demeanor, the band still brings an energy to the stage that calls for the audience to get their bodies swaying and their feet tapping. 8 pm. Volcanic Theatre Pub 70 SW Century Dr. $5.

Bare Roots Blue Grass
Free live music concert series in the garden.
7 pm. GoodLife Brewing 70 SW Columbia Dr. Free.

Wednesday:
Heart By Heart
Fresh off its Hall of Face induction (in 2013), Heart is touring again. Well...the bassist and drummer for Heart are touring as Heart by Heart. Same great songs, minus those great sisters. With 20 Top 40 hits, the band has ingrained its songs so deeply into your brain over the decades that you probably don’t even realize that you already know lyrics to sing along with, including the most rocking sing-along about a fish ever, “Barracuda!” (Although, technically, it’s a metaphor about a music producer). 4:30 pm. Old Mill District 520 SW Powerhouse Dr. Free.

Brewfish

Unique SoCal sound, infusing reggae, dub, rock, dancehall beats, and a touch of rhythm 'n blues. 9 pm. Dojo 852 NW Brooks St. Free.

Thursday:
Ringo Starr & His All Starr Band
Ringo's All Starr Band features Todd Rundgren, STeve Lukather (from Toto), Richard Page (from Mr. Mister), Gregg Rolie (from Santana and Journey), and Gregg Bissonette led perhaps the world's best known and certainly the world's richest drummer. 5 pm. Les Schwab Amphitheater 344 SW Shevlin-Hixon Dr.

Corpus Callosum

Post Industrial Folk Noir. 8:30 pm. Tin Pan Theater 869 NW Tin Pan Alley. $5.
