You may still be recovering from last night’s White Buffalo show at the Silver Moon, but there’s another show worth checking out tonight, and this time it’s free. Brooklyn’s The Defibulators are kicking off a marathon tour at McMenamins tonight with a show that will bring you all sorts of acoustic wildness.

This band, fronted by the smoothly excellent vocals of Erin Bru, blend tradional bluegrass sounds with gypsy grooves and contemporary indie folk to create an intriguing blend of throwback front porch honky tonk. It’s a nice mix and knowing Bend’s preferences, should be well received.

The show is at 7pm and, again, it’s free.

Check out these backyard videos of the band in action.
