I just read an article re: Obama with reference to Dr. Sam Vaknin. Whoever wrote this article seems to think the American people are a bunch of sheep who can be led by one person, or persons, without any struggle. This is absolutely not true. What the author seems to forget is that there is a whole segment of middle Americans, like myself, who would not put up with this type of thing. They are usually Christians, or believers, and love their country, America.

To think that Obama is the only one who has had a rough beginning is tremendously erroneous. If you were to talk to any number of people, they too have had a rough beginning but because of their faith in God and America, they have overcome much.

My personal feeling about Obama is that he is just a man who took on a tremendous responsibility in becoming the new president. I am not to be classified as a right or left winger, or middle of the road either. I am an American and a believer.

I hope the author gets the real message in what I wrote.

  1. I just got some of this Vaknin nonsense sent to me by a rather right relative that didn’t do her research.

The good “doctor” does not list any intermediate degrees on his biography page. Apparently, he went straight to “doctor.” How did he do this? He attended “Pacific Western University.” The university has been investigated by many an Attorney General’s office and was found to be a diploma mill, it closed its doors a few years ago.

The good doctor is such an expert on narcissism, he claims, because he himself suffers from the disorder. This is all documented in a book that he self published and, apparently, that over 100,000 people have been foolish enough to purchase. In the book he chronicles the awareness of his disease that he achieved while in an Israeli prison for fraud. It is unclear if this is true (isn’t it alluring though). However, it is very very clever as it allows him to dismiss any criticism (I am a narcissist so I can’t help it) and allows him to further manipulate the search engines (just try typing in his name and fraud, con, etc. and you will see the first several entries are article by him).

If you look hard enough you will see he tried to create a wikipedia entry on both himself and the disorder from which he supposedly suffers. This was deleted after his dubious credentials were exposed and he perpetually continued to attempt to manipulate wikipedia. To cover up the shame that occurred from his banishment on wikipedia he immediately fired off a volley of anti-wiki articles and published them on every crack pot web page that would publish them. Again, this served to control the first several hits regarding himself and wikipedia. The new story that he has spun is that he was always a wiki-critic and he was banished because of this.

The good doctor Vaknin’s persona and antics are so bizarre I can’t help but wonder if his very existence won’t turn out to be a myth, hoax, or a very clever experiment by someone studying innovative techniques in viral marketing. Time will tell.

  2. Sheep, believe in “god”. And “country”.

That which you believe in may very leave this planet, the only one we have, uninhabitable by the end of the century(pig era), if not slaveringly hastened along by Israel and those such as you lust for opening a nuclear war upon (not nuclear armed) Iran.

You’re welcome, nay free, have the “right” even, to believe whatever bullshit you want to believe. However, as Ben Franklin reminds us “your rights end at the tip of your nose”, when the bullshit you believe in steps on the toes of my and my children and grandchildren’s ability to survive you got a problem, butt-boy, bigger than your mouth.

  3. Lee Woods seems to be insinuating that people who are Christians (or at least ‘believers’) and who ‘love their country’ (i.e. Patriots or Nationalists as they used to be called before it became a dirty word – one can only hope “Patriot” will be soon be recognized as a dirty word) are the much vaunted “True Americans”. Not only that, but they are blessed with that mental ability so precious to mankind – independence of thought.

But surely he is constructing a mythological person – a person who is a “leader” and an “independent, critical thinker” while at the same time s(he) is a “follower”, a “believer”, a member of “the like-minded masses” – these latter “qualities” are necessary if one wants to be a Patriotic Christian and are antithetic to being “not easily lead” by demagogues or other “great communicators”.

In short – critical thinking believer: critical thinking Patriot…. these are oxymorons.

  4. Hope and Obama. The real hope is Obama goes away soon. his lies and flip flops are ruining the country.
