A man crashed his black Suburban into a duplex in Southwest Bend last evening near the corner of Blakely Road and Doanna Way.

Though no one was injured, two people were trapped on the second floor because the SUV smashed the stairs in the building.

The driver of the vehicle, Brett Lee Davis, was tested for driving under the influence but apparently was not affected by alcohol or other substances, according to media reports. He may have had a medical emergency, said police.
