After returning from a cross-country trip last week, I was endlessly bummed to learn that the Larry and His Flask‘s show at Silver Moon on April 8 I had missed had been one of the zaniest gigs ever at the venue. But thankfully, just a week later, I had a chance to see LAHF in full buck-wild form — and for free.

The band played to an impressively sized group (maybe a couple hundred?) behind Ranch Records in honor of Record Store Day. I could continue typing about how insanely cool it was to see LAHF play to their hometown fans in a public space like this, but you’d be better served checking out the video evidence.

You’ll also see some footage of Yenn, the new-ish Bend act who went acoustic for this gig.

  1. Best FREE show I’ve ever seen! LAHF were amazing! Perfect day out too. Gotta love this town, and the incredible talent pool that call this place “home”.

Yen were also really good. Killer vibe.
