If you haven’t been in to The Reptile Zone yet, you are missing out.
I just took my friends who are nine and six (years old) in to meet Jeff and his reptile family and we all left 30 minutes later with huge smiles on our faces.
This wasn’t my first time in his store. In January I took another lizard junkie (who is 4) there and we had the same experience. Jeff takes the time to pull out snakes, turtles and lizards for the kids to look at, or if appropriate, to hold. He explains their diets and anything else a child might ask and they do ask many questions. His admiration for reptiles, children and curious customers is evident. It really is like no other pet store around. I never thought that I would be writing about a shopping experience with children in a positive way. Jeff is a gift to our community.
